9. ACCOUNTS FOR PAYMENT

To authorise the schedules of payments (Parish Council Account and Village Halls

Account) and to note the expenditure from Credit Card Transactions.

10. CODE OF CONDUCT

To pass a resolution to adopt the Model Code of Conduct 2007 for members including Paragraph 12(2) effective from the resolution date.

Paragraph 12(2) gives elected Members with a prejudicial interest the same rights as members of the public to speak to a meeting on the issue, but then leave the room before the main discussion and vote.

As this paragraph does not automatically apply to Parish and Town Councils, the Parish Council will need to pass specific resolution to take advantage of this amendment.

Also the Policy and Resources Committee have recommended the following addition:-

Page 4 (v) The Senior Officer of the Council must be advised of any disclosures of confidential information.

Minute number 06/64 refers.

A copy of the revised code of conduct will be issued under separate cover.

11. NOMINATION TO THE CDA FOR HERTS’BOARD
