Welcome!
Chorleywood sits on the Hertfordshire-Buckinghamshire border, nestled within the Chilterns and surrounded by the parishes of Chenies, Sarratt, Rickmansworth, and Croxley Green. It has a vibrant High Street and is home to Chorleywood Common, a Local Nature Reserve and County Heritage Site.
The parish is well-positioned on the outskirts of London, having its own train station served by both London Underground and the Chiltern Main Line, and in close proximity to two junctions of the M25 in addition to the M40 & M1 being close by. The variety of housing and quality of schools coupled with the beautiful features of the Common, fields and farmland, both within and surrounding the parish, make it a very desirable and sought-after place to live.
Chorleywood Parish Council is one of the larger local councils in Hertfordshire. It serves a mix of village, semi-urban and rural communities, comprising approximately 11,000 residents.
