Chorleywood Scarecrow Trail 2023

Scarecrow Trail Friday13 Oct- Sunday 15 Oct Registration

It’s Time to Get Scarecrow Making …

 Calling Chorleywood’s brilliant scarecrow creators!

It’s time to register your Scarecrow in the 2023 Trail (Deadline – 30th September)

https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/686221656447?aff=oddtdtcreator

Trail runs from Fri 13 Oct – Sun 15 Oct.

This year’s theme is: Strike a Pose

Create straw people in action, striking a strong pose or stopped in the middle of an activity, be it dancing, diving or digging – think Matilda with hands on hips, bendy Freddie Mercury, rubber-legged Elvis.

New award this year for group entries – get together with a friend to make a scarecrow double-act – Morecambe and Wise bringing us sunshine, Tom chasing Jerry, even freeze frame a famous movie scene from Titanic to Lady and the Tramp.

Or go even bigger… team up with neighbours to build a tableau. It could be a Circus Big Top scenario with jugglers, stilt-walkers and acrobats, athletes at the Olympics or performers at Eurovision.
