Our Allotment Sites
Chorleywood Parish Council owns and manages three allotment sites within Chorleywood. These are at:
- Dog Kennel Lane on the South side of Chorleywood Common;
- Copmans Wick; and
- The Swillet
Each allotment site has a designated allotment representative. This enables allotment tenants to raise comments and issues of concern with them for passing on to the Parish Council office. To find out who the allotment representative is for a site, please contact info@chorleywood-pc.gov.uk
Facilities at the sites include water via standpipes and lockable access gates, with vehicle access for deliveries.

Community Garden
Love gardening but not sure if you are ready to take on an allotment plot? Keen to learn new skills and meet new people? Why not come along and join us at our Community Garden?
You can find our Community Garden at the Dog Kennel Lane allotment site. Open to all, we run volunteer led sessions every Wednesday from 10am to 11.30am.

Inspections
The allotment sites are inspected by the Allotments Officer and/ or one of the Rangers on a quarterly basis. This is to ensure plots are being worked and looked after so as not to cause issues or a nuisance to other allotment tenants, and to check the tenancy agreement is being complied with.
In addition, members of the Open Spaces Committee aim to inspect the sites on a quarterly basis, giving allotment tenants an opportunity to address Councillors directly on allotment related matters.
Every September, the Open Spaces Committee invites allotment tenants to address them at the Annual Meeting of Allotment Tenants on matters affecting the allotment sites.
