Parish Paths

Chorleywood Public Footpath Sign

Chorleywood has a network of public footpaths meandering through the Parish. Some are short cuts between one road and another, others are longer and more picturesque going through more open countryside and many with points of interest either on or a short distance from the path. They can be identified by signage similar to the example right.

The paths are regularly strimmed during the growing season by the Parish Rangers on behalf of Hertfordshire County Council (HCC). Any significant problems are reported back to HCC’s Rights of Way Officer for action. Work is currently being undertaken to put together a number of the paths to create walks of interest and details of the current ones can be found below:

Reporting any issues with paths

If in the course of walking any of the paths an issue preventing easy access along the path is identified please report it to admin@chorleywood-pc.gov.uk.
