Sustainability Committee Meetings & Members

The Sustainability Committee’s function is to make the Parish Council’s operations sustainable, thereby positively impacting the environment and the community it serves, and, in addition to support and encourage the community to become sustainable. Its objectives are to:

  • Develop a Sustainability Policy for CPC;
  • Develop, adopt and lead delivery of a Sustainability Action Plan; and
  • Engage with the residents of Chorleywood, communicate the Council’s Sustainability Policy and Action Plan and encourage the community to adopt similar practices.

The Committee consists of at least five Councillors (including one from each committee) and the Chair and Vice Chair as ex officio members.  It meets approximately every 6 weeks.
