The Three Rivers Local Plan is now out for consultation. This is the first formal consultation on the plan (known as a Regulation 18 Consultation) and, though there are later consultations on the plan, this is the best chance for the public to effect change in the plan. This consultation will run until 20th August.
The Local Plan consists of policies that will govern decisions over planning permissions for the next 15 years and a list of proposed larger sites for development over that period. Details of the policies and sites can be found at:
Further detail on the sites can be found at:
Whatever your feelings about this plan we strongly recommend that you make your views known to the council – this is your best opportunity to influence what will happen in our district over the next 15+ years.
How to respond:
The council’s preferred way for you to respond to is through the online consultation portal that can be found at:
Alternatively, you can respond to the consultation by: Email to: firstname.lastname@example.org or Writing to: Economic & Sustainable Development, Three Rivers District Council, Three Rivers House, Northway, Rickmansworth, WD3 1RL.
Note: Whilst it has not been selected as a preferred site in the new draft Local Plan, the Planning Applications for Green Street (East) will be considered under the current Local Plan and could still be approved.
